In spite of the inescapable attraction and the subtle influence exerted by the millennia-old civilization of Kyrgyzstan on any jeweller living in the foothills of the Tien-Shan Mountains, Victor does not use the symbolic language of folk art. He has developed a style of his own, falling back however on the same elemental force by which folk-art is inspired: nature. He feels free to work according to his own impetus - independent both from traditional viewing habits and from the demands of modern fashion.
